A monthly premium per policy is payable monthly in advance. A monthly premium must be paid by 7 th of each month.
If 2 full months premiums are not received by Insurer, the policy will lapse automatically.
A 60-day grace period is allowed after lapse to re-instate a policy
- Active participation in riots, nuclear activities, terrorism, or any illegal activities
- Any illegal persons living in South Africa
- Persons living in SADC may not be insured
NO waiting period will be applied for unnatural causes provided that the Insurer has fully accepted risk or a policy prior to time of death
Insurers will not pay a benefit if it is as a direct or indirect result of active participation in war, invasion, acts of foreign enemies, hostilities, illegal strikes, warlike operations (whether war be declared or not), civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, civil commotion assuming the proportions of or amounting to an uprising or riot, military, or usurped power.
